Le Premier ministre russe, Vladimir Poutine, avait averti jeudi que les livraisons de gaz russes à l'Ukraine et vers l'Europe seraient de nouveau interrompues si Kiev ne payait pas d'ici samedi sa facture gazière pour le mois de février.

US bill aims to ease Cuba travel

The US House of Representatives has passed a bill that should lead to the easing of restrictions on Cuban-Americans wanting to travel to Cuba.

The measures announced in the US bill represent a first move in broader efforts to ease the US trade embargo and end travel restrictions for all Americans.

"We thought it was the right time to reinvigorate French-Cuban relations, at a time when the European Union has resumed dialogue with Cuba, when Cuba is evolving slowly, too slowly perhaps, when the United States themselves are thinking about their position on Cuba," an official in the President's office said of Mr Lang's trip.

kd6cae: Time warner finally brings back advertised Turbo speeds!

I recently reported how time warner took many of it's turbo users in Socal and downgraded them from 15/2, which I guess they gave as a test, back to what was suppose to be the old Turbo speeds, but in some areas, such as mine here in the Antelope Valley, speeds were dropped all the way back to 8/512!We'll probably never know exactly why that happened, but as of this evening, Turbo speeds have returned back to what they're advertised at, that being 10/1.

If anyone reading this has RR turbo, and you're still getting 8/512, manualy reset your modem, and you should pick up the new corrected Turbo configuration.

Strange that they did that, but at least for now, until the next time they decide to tease us with an upgrade that lasts just a month or so, we're back to what the package says we should be at for now.
